We are eager to return to the in-person markets that we miss and need so deeply, but have reluctantly come to the conclusion that it will not be possible to host the in-person Winter 2021 Swim Collective and Active Collective, which had been scheduled for January 13-14, 2021 in Anaheim, CA; and Active Collective New York, scheduled for January 20-21, 2021.
Continued developments have made it impossible to effectively execute Collective Shows that deliver the level of connection, discovery, and value our community expects. This is due to the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including ongoing government restrictions on large gatherings and travel; further regulations imposed in Anaheim and New York City by local government and public health authorities; and the various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees affecting attendees and participating companies.
We are extremely disappointed to cancel our Winter 2021 in-person Collective Shows. However, it has become clear that it will not be possible to bring our community together in California and New York in January. Our attention now turns to our summer events, including a shift in location for our summer California events to the heart of the LA Fashion District, something our brands and retailers have been requesting.
We are focused on continuing to serve this community, creating ways to connect and work closely with each of our partners, and providing the necessary support and information to enhance your businesses throughout the year.
We deeply value your ongoing loyalty to the Collective Shows and thank you in advance for your understanding. We can’t wait to bring everyone together again next summer, July 29-30, 2021 at our new location, the California Market Center in downtown LA.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
